If you don't want WeatherScope to connect to the Internet while you're working, you can choose to work offline. Working offline is helpful when you wish to view data archived on your machine, if you have a dial-up Internet connection, or if you have no Internet connection. If you don't archive any data, you won't have any data to use when you work offline.

Work Offline will remain active until you choose to work online, even if you close WeatherScope.
