Question 7. Move to 0200 UTC (9:00 PM CDT). What does the WSR-88D now offer you in terms of
new information? Is the environmental hazard still the same as you faced two hours ago? If not,
what's new? |

Answer. The 9:00 p.m. radar shows the squall line moving through the Dallas Metro area. Rainfall rates of over 2.5 inches an hour have been observed. Flooding is now the main hazard. Two hours ago the threat was large hail and possibly tornadoes, before the supercell merged with the squall line. |
