In which regions in the plains states did the Storm Prediction Center predict thunderstorms to occur? Were severe thunderstorms expected in Oklahoma? |

Answer. The Storm Prediction Center (SPC) predicted severe thunderstorms to occur in South Dakota, Nebraska, northwest Kansas and southwest Minnesota. Severe thunderstorms were not expected in Oklahoma, although the SPC recognized the possibility of general thunderstorms in the Oklahoma panhandle. |
