Question 4. The Norman (NORM) Mesonet station
had about 0.08 inches of rainfall recorded from earlier
yet it dropped to zero at 7 p.m. Why?

Answer. The rain gauges reset to zero at 0000Z, or 7 p.m. CDT. From October to April, the 0Z resetting of the rain gauges would occur at 6 p.m. CST. |
