Question 5. What happens between 5:30 and 9:30 p.m.
that causes temperatures to drop 10 to 15°F in most
parts of the state?
|
Answer. Sunset. For example, the 5:30 p.m. temperature of 95-98°F at the Lahoma (LAHO) site followed by temperatures of 82-85°F at 9:30 p.m. The lack of sunlight helps cause the 10-16°F temperature difference during this time period. |
