Question 6. On the Hobart meteogram, note that the observed solar radiation is practically zero well before sunset. Thinking in terms of what you know to have occurred in the area between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m., explain the reason for the lack of sunlight.

Answer. The storms south and west of the area must have been on the horizon, blocking the last of the sun's rays as it set behind the approaching clouds.
