Question 4. At 6:28 p.m., identify the prominent features in Garfield and Noble counties on the Tilt 1 Base reflectivity scan.

Answer.  A supercell thunderstorm is located in Garfield and Noble counties. Prominent features of this storm are the hook echo on the southwest side of the storm and the V-notch on the northeast side. Reflectivity values above 60 dBZ indicate the likelihood of large hail. These features, along with rotation, are characteristics of a supercell thunderstorm.
