Copy and Paste

To copy and paste a product within the same map or graph:

Select the product in the legend you want to move or copy and choose one of these options:

To copy the product (and leave it where it is):

• Select the product in the legend by clicking once on its name
• Choose Edit > Copy
To move the product:
• Select the product in the legend by clicking once on its name
• Choose Edit > Cut
To paste the product:
• Choose Edit > Paste
  • The product is pasted at the top of the legend if no product is selected
  • The product is pasted just above any product selected in the legend

To copy and paste a product to a different map or graph:

Select the product in the legend you want to move or copy and choose one of these options:

• Choose Edit > Cut
To paste the product:
• Open a different map or graph
• Choose Edit > Paste
  • The product is pasted at the top of the legend if no product is selected
  • The product is pasted just above any product selected in the legend

When you use the Copy or Cut commands, the selected product is placed in a holding area called the Clipboard. The Clipboard keeps the item until you choose Copy or Cut again, or you turn off the computer. The Clipboard holds the contents of only one Copy or Cut item at a time.
